Lamb Print History
SH Lamb Printing House commenced operation in the 1890’s. The company grew rapidly from these humble beginnings and went on to introduce process-colour printing in WA, becoming a true pioneer in the industry.
SH Lamb acquired Paterson Brokenshea in the 1960’s to become Lamb Paterson Pty Ltd, this entity was sold by the Lamb family in the early 1970’s.
In 1974, Don and Ainslie Lamb (direct descendents of founder SH Lamb), commenced operation as Lamb Printers Pty Ltd now located in East Perth. Beginning with a staff of just two people in those early days, the business has grown and now has 60 employees.
The name Lamb Print has become synonymous with quality and service, not only in Western Australia, but across the country. Today the company provides a complete range of products and services in the print medium, from original concept right through to the finished article.
Keeping pace with the latest in technological developments, the new millennium sees Lamb Print equipped to play a major role in the visual communication media market. The company has an enviable client base from a diverse range of market segments, specialising in the magazine, book and colour promotional sectors.
Extensive experience in handling secure and confidential printing such as annual reports and prospectuses has seen Lamb Print develop ironclad protocols and procedures for producing sensitive work. To that end, Lamb Print was awarded the internationally-recognized ISO9001 accreditation in 2003.
Lamb Print, whilst being widely acclaimed for quality printing, has also been formally acknowledged by its peers in the printing industry, receiving many prestigious craft awards over its years of operation. Now, and in the future, Lamb Print will continue to be an industry leader in terms of quality, innovation and range of services.
